Joaquín Fernández-Crehuet Serrano
Degree in Law. University of Málaga. Spain.
Master in Business and Energy Law. ISE – law firm Cremades&Calvo – Sotelo.
In 2005 he completed his postgraduate studies and was awarded the Diploma of Advanced Studies by the University of Málaga.
In 2008 he continued his training in legal consultancy for companies, obtaining the degree as Expert in Business Law, awarded by the prestigious Center for Graduate Studies in Business Administration and Management at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and.
in 2009, he completed a postgraduate degree as Specialist in Law Bankruptcy awarded by the Illustrious Bar Association of Granada and the Official College of Mercantile Graduates of Granada.
In 2010, he completed a postgraduate degree in Civil Liability and Insurance. Universidad Internacional de Andalucía.
In 2013 he completed the postgraduate degree in Civil and Commercial Mediation awarded by the University of San Pablo CEU, which allows him to act as Mediator in matters between individuals, as well as in conflicts between companies of any scope.
In 2016 he completed the postgraduate Master in Financial Markets (IBT).
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
He began his professional career in 2003 as a Lawyer in Madrid in the Department of Commercial Law of the law firm Cremades & Calvo – Sotelo, giving legal advice to companies and individuals, both nationally and internationally.
In 2005 he joined the legal advice Gas Natural Group in Madrid, providing legal advice to the different subsidiaries of the Group.
In 2006 he joined the Department of Corporate Law at the Barcelona headquarters, providing legal advice to the Secretary of the Board of Directors of Gas Natural.
In 2009, he created his own firm with the aim of providing comprehensive legal service to companies and individuals from all over Spain.
He is co-author of different Law books, the most relevant one being “Lecciones y materiales para el estudio de Derecho Administrativo” (Lessons and materials for the study of Administrative Law), Ed. Iustel, and “Técnicas de Regulación para la competencia” (Regulation Techniques for Competition). Ed. Iustel , among others, and author of different articles in legal journals: (ISSN: 1130-2127).
He is currently a member of the Research Group of the Ministry of Education and Science on Regulated Economic Sectors (GISER) and lecturer in different seminars held by the University of Málaga (Jean Monnet Module).
On September 25, 2015, he was awarded the gold medal prize by the Foro Europa 2001 (www.foroeuropa2001.com), in recognition of his professional work as a lawyer.
